Grama Vikasa Saradhi is a social service organization, but with a difference. Saradhi means charioteer, a driver, a guide. A GVSian does not expect any thanks from the beneficiaries, rather is thankful to them for giving him an opportunity to serve. GVS thus gives more stress on the intent of the service, rather than on the content; it is the quality of the service that matters and not the quantity.

Good intentions, honest efforts, transparency, humbleness and an intrinsic faith in Divine dispensation are the hallmark of each member of the GVS team. GVSians decide the intent and the Almighty decides the contents of our service.
